Reclining Nude

Foundry cast bronze sculpture on granite base. This subject began as a sketch and subsequently a detailed drawing of a reclining nude figure. Inspired by the work of Henry Moore I carved the three dimensional object from a block of plaster. The plaster enabled me to achieve a beautiful smooth finish. From a mould I have been able to cast 50 bronze sculptures richly patinated using copper sulphate. Limited-edition run of 50.
